Masdar

The GoU has been implementing a large-scale RE strategy to deploy in the next 10 years up to 5 GW of cost effective and environment-friendly solar generation to meet the increasing demand for electricity in Uzbekistan. As part of this initiative, GoU mandated ADB and IFC to help prepare and auction three different sites, which was won by Masdar on a design, build, finance, operate basis.

Masdar contracted Juru to undertake solar measurement campaign for 12 months at the 457 MW Sherabad, 220 MW Jizzakh and 220 MW Samarkand solar PV project sites. Juru already had some measurement equipment at its disposal, which allowed us to start measuring some critical data until the main equipment we ordered from the subcontractor arrived a few months later.

  • Limited data measurement (Albedo, GHI, wind speed & direction, humidity, temperature, rainfall) using Juru’s own equipment
