EBRD

OJSC Chakan GES is developing a c.20 MW solar power plant on approximately 45 ha of land near the Alamedin HPP cascade in the Kyrgyz Republic, with financing being considered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The Project requires a comprehensive Feasibility Assessment meeting both international best practice standards and local requirements in the Kyrgyz Republic. Juru was engaged by the EBRD to carry out the Feasibility Assessment, covering technical design, grid connection, financial analysis, and permitting.

Services provided

  • Carry out topographical survey at the scale of 1:500
  • Conduct geotechnical investigations
  • Perform hydrometeorological survey
  • Develop conceptual PV plant design, including plant layout and single-line diagram (SLD)
  • Carry out PVsyst modelling and energy yield assessment based on procured satellite data
  • Prepare BoQ and calculate PV plant CAPEX and OPEX
  • Conduct grid impact assessment and calculate CAPEX for grid connection infrastructure
  • Perform tariff and financial-economic analysis
  • Prepare and submit Feasibility Study Report to local authorities
