Project features

The Syrdarya 2 Power Plant, situated near Shirin along the Syrdarya River in Uzbekistan and approximately 120km south of Tashkent, boasts an installed capacity of 1640MW. Utilizing natural gas and water from a nearby canal, the plant connects to the Uzbekistan State Grid via a 500kV/220kV AIS substation. Juru was hired by Harbin Electric to perform network analysis to identify unit transformer parameters.

Services provided

• Conduct short circuit calculations before and after interconnection for the project's COD based on the IEC60909
  
• Perform load flow studies with data collection to demonstrate reactive power capability and recommend additional reactive power devices
• Support EPC with getting approval of the results from NEGU/NDC
