Project features

The projects entail the construction of 2 wind farms with a capacity of 250 megawatts each alongside 220/35 kV substations and 220 kV power transmission lines. The contractors for the projects will be Universal Energy’s subsidiaries Peak Wind Alpha and Peak Wind Beta. Juru was hired for this project to perform Engineering Design Services.

Services provided

• Develop basic and detail design of 2x220 kV new substation, and existing remote-end 220 kV Chopan-Ota and Sogdiana substation
  
• Prepare basic & detail design of 41 km OHL between Peak Alpha WPP substation and 220 kV existing Chopan-Ota substation, 18 km OHL between Peak Alpha WPP substation and Peak Beta WPP substation, and 88 km OHL between Peak Beta WPP substation and 220 kV existing Sugdiana substation.
• Develop basic & detail design of 35 kV collector OHLs of Peak Alpha WPP and Peak Beta WPP with with 60 km length.
• Conduct an Engineering Review/Endorsement and Permitting Support for 2x250 MW WPPs.
