The Ministry of Construction and Housing and Utilities has signed an agreement with GIZ for formulating a national energy audit concept regarding the energy efficiency reforms in the building sector in Uzbekistan. The primary objective of this project is to foster the development of a competitive energy efficiency market in Uzbekistan. Within this framework, Juru was hired as a technical consultant to conduct energy audits of buildings in 3 regions across Uzbekistan.

Services provided

  • Review architectural and engineering plans, existing documents, facility operation and maintenance procedure and utility bills for the 2019-2023 to assess building characteristics, systems, operation and maintenance procedures 
  • Detect heat losses building envelope structures and leaks through pipelines and heating devices using the Fluke TiS75+ 
  • Conduct measurements of consumption, temperature and pressure of network water with Fluke 64 MAX IR
  • Determine CO2 levels in apartments and the ratio of window-to-wall dimensions utilizing ExtechCO250 and Leica Disto D8 devices respectively
  • Install Power Quality Analyzer Fluke-1775 according to requirements on outgoing lines of electrical receivers to measure the parameters of building electricity and lighting
  • Develop energy audit report with a roadmap for implementation on energy-saving measures based on cost-effectiveness and impact
