Project features

Masdar is developing the Jizzakh Solar Project which is located in the Gallaoral District, Jizzakh Region. The project site is approximately 10 km north of the City of Gallaoral and 25km west of the City Jizzakh. The site is accessed via R-42, off motorway M39. Juru was engaged to carry out Biodiversity Consultancy and Ornithology and Reptile Surveys to ensure that project’s compliance with the environmental and social standards of various lenders, including EBRD PR6, IFC PS6, EIB Standard 4, and ADB SPS, which focus on biodiversity conservation and sustainable resource management are met.
