Within the framework of the Uzbekistan Mortgage Market Sector Development Program (MMSDP), UzMRC needs to develop a mechanism whereby a renovation project that is eligible for a loan would have energy saving product cost of at least 60%. A renovation project could involve the installation or replacement of heating and cooling systems, water heaters, doors, windows, rooftop solar photovoltaic modules, solar thermal, insulation, and other eligible equipment and appliances enhancing energy efficiency. Juru supported UzMRC with designing a web-based green renovation toolkit to standardise appraisal of loan projects aligning with energy efficiency goals.

Services provided

  • Prepare heat loss calculations for houses including covering wall insulation, window/door replacements, boiler/heat pump systems, and solar (PV and water heating) installations incorporating local requirements and manufacturers
  • Managed IT programmers to develop a web-based green renovation toolkit that determines eligibility for green loans by calculating house heat loss based on user input and issues certificates required for loan applications
