Project features

Nebras Power Investment Management B.V. ("Nebras") and Sojitz Corporation ("Sojitz") are jointly developing a wind project with a capacity of 1 GW in the Tamdy district of the Navoi region, 75km away from Zarafshan, Uzbekistan. Additionally, the project involves developing a 500kV Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) spanning approximately 234 km, which will connect a collector substation to an existing substation connected to the national grid. The initial scope of works of the Technical Advisor (JV between Tractebel (German office) and Juru) included provision of tender support (for EPC selection), geotechnical investigation, and E&S scoping study for the windfarm area. Later, the additional scope of wind measurement campaign was added.
